As Senior Vice President of the BMW Group - Franz Cremer was responsible for the Human Resources Management with focus on top-level management for many years. He has extensive personal experience on leadership.
Mr. Cremer is a graduate industrial engineering (FH) and started his career as a sales and project engineer for a medium-sized machine manufacturer. In 1984 he started working at BMW Group. In the beginning in the area of ramp-up planning, later as personnel officers for functions of the technical headquarter.
After three years in human resources Franz Cremer returned to the technical area and worked for the next eleven years mainly at the interface between development and production. This time was marked by very practical oriented activities, but also of strategic tasks.
In the year 2000 Franz Cremer took over the responsibility of the new founded area “technical integration”. In 2004 he was appointed Head of Human Resources Management with focus on top-level management.
Since 2012 Franz Cremer gives lectures as a consultant on leadership at Michaela Bürger Consulting.
